By purchasing an event ticket on our website, you agree to these terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all Threshold events, please read them carefully before purchasing any tickets. All tickets are sold or provided subject to availability and under these Terms and Conditions.

Threshold.aero are (the "Organisers"), which includes its event management and their respective employees, contractors, servants agents and hosts.

These Terms and Conditions create a legal agreement between you and the Organisers relating to your booking and attendance at any Threshold event. These Terms and Conditions also apply to entry by any person holding a complimentary admission or passes.



1. General:

a) The Organiser may transfer its rights and obligations under the Terms and Conditions to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights or the Organisers obligations under these Terms and Conditions and you will be notified in writing if this happens. You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these Terms and Conditions to another person if the Organiser agrees in writing.

b) These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Organisers and the Ticket Holder. You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise or representation made or given by or on behalf of the Organisers which is not set out in these Terms and Conditions.

c) If for any reason any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.

d) The Organiser may enforce their rights and enjoy the benefits given under paragraphs 2 of these Terms and Conditions against the Ticket Holder. Otherwise, a person who is not a party to the agreement formed between the Organisers and the Ticket Holder on these Terms and Conditions will not have any right to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any provision of these Regulations.

e) These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the Ticket Holder agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts over any matter arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.



2. Liability:

a) In this section, the "Organiser" means Threshold.aero

b) Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit the liability of the Organisers for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence or for any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.

c) Whilst the Organisers take reasonable care to ensure the safety of the event, the Ticket Holder acknowledges that they may be exposed to possible risk of physical harm or property damage due to the nature of the event and the Ticket Holder enters and brings any vehicle or property onto the Showground, Carpark areas and surrounding areas entirely at their own risk.

d) Other than where the Ticket Holder suffers personal injury or death or property damage resulting from the negligence of the Organisers, the Ticket Holder acknowledges that the Organisers will not be liable for any loss or damage that the Ticket Holder may suffer as a result of purchasing a ticket and/or gaining access to the Showground and Carpark areas. This exclusion applies whether the liability arises in contract or tort ((including negligence and negligent misstatement) or for misrepresentation, breach of statutory duty or otherwise).

e) In no circumstances will the Organisers be responsible to the Ticket Holder for any economic loss of any kind, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of earnings or loss of revenues or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

f) The maximum aggregate liability on the part of the Organisers shall be limited to the face value of the ticket of the relevant Ticket Holder.



3. Data Protection:

From time to time, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g.name and email address) in order to receive or use services such as purchasing tickets for events, signing up to our email newsletter list, and website feedback. All personal data we collect from you complies with the data protection principles, as stated in the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA), and in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We will not share your personal information with third-parties, other than where required by law. The only exception to this is where the venue requires your details, such as an active military establishment. This will be made clear on the event information page. If you do not consent to your information being passed to a third-party in this case, you will not be permitted access to the event.

We will use the information you provide us with in order to improve our offering to you. Your name and email address will be used in our marketing to you (such as email newsletters), any personal information such as home address or vehicle registration will be securely held and used for repeat event bookings.

When we provide services, we want to make them easy, useful and reliable. Where services are delivered on the internet, this sometimes involves placing small amounts of information on your device, for example, computer or mobile phone. These include small files known as cookies. They cannot be used to identify you personally. These pieces of information are used to improve services for you through, for example:

  • enabling a service to recognise your device so you don’t have to give the same information several times during one task
  • recognising that you may already have given a username and password so you don’t need to do it for every web page requested
  • measuring how many people are using services, so they can be made easier to use and there’s enough capacity to ensure they are fast
  • analysing anonymised data to help us understand how people interact with government services so we can make them better


4. Ticketing and Entry:

Any access within areas controlled by The Organisers is by permission only. The purchaser or holder of a ticket (the "Ticket Holder") is permitted entry (valid only for the applicable date(s) which the ticket relates to) to:

for general admission tickets - the areas of the event (including car parks) designated by the Organisers as being open to general admission ticket holders (the 'Showground');
for Enclosure tickets - the Showground and the designated enclosures corresponding to the particular enclosure ticket;
Access to the the Event car parks is not permitted without a valid admission ticket.


All tickets sold through our website are e-tickets, you will receive your confirmation email immediately after purchase which will contain a link, which you will need to click to download your e-ticket. Please ensure you enter your email address correctly when booking your ticket! Also ensure that you check your spam/trash folder for this email after you finish your transaction. It is your duty to ensure you have the email not ours. Failure to check could result in you needing a replacement ticket sent, please see section 5.5 below.

All tickets sold, either through our website or through another provider are non-refundable unless otherwise stated below or on the event booking page.

On occasion, we may use another ticket provider. We will make this clear on the booking page, including a link to their terms and conditions.

The Organisers reserve the right at any time to cancel or postpone any event or to cancel, postpone or vary any part of our events, including due to any event outside of the reasonable control of the Organisers affecting the performance of its obligations or the running of the event, including without limitation unavailability of the venue or participants, civil commotion, riot, invasion, Royal mourning, national mourning, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not), natural disasters, adverse weather conditions which cause safety issues, pandemic or epidemic or any law or action taken by a government or local/public authority.

All aircraft attendance at any of our events, whether a photoshoot, fly-in or air show, is dependant on aircraft serviceability of equipment, operational circumstances and in some circumstances weather. If an aircraft is pulled we will endeavour to replace it with another if time permits. If this does not affect whether the event continues, no refunds will be given.

Whilst we cant stop people passing tickets to others, at an event where there is a need for the attendee to show photographic I.D. at the gate, the name on the ticket must match that of the I.D. show. This will predominantly be when an event is being held at a military installation or airport with security checks.



5. Event Cancellations, date changes, refunds and lost tickets:

a) Event cancellations sadly do happen, In the unlikely event that we have to cancel an event due to operational requirements or another reason out of our control, we may be able to offer a refund if the event cannot be rescheduled. If the weather is likely to be a factor in the decision making, we will endeavour to make the decision to cancel at least 24hrs prior to the published start time. Please note that inclement weather is very unlikely to cause the event to be cancelled. If a decision to cancel the event is made we would not be responsible for any incurred personal costs to you;

b) Should an event need to be rescheduled, ticket holders will automatically have their tickets rolled on to the new date for the rescheduled event. If the new date offered is not convenient for you, a refund of the face value of the ticket, not including the booking fee will be actioned after you have notified us of the situation via the email that you’ll receive in our communications to you about it.

c) Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per order. We reserve the right to cancel tickets without prior notice if purchased in excess of this limit.

d) Unless otherwise stated there are no age restrictions on events. We reserve the right to refuse entry should we believe you have purchased the wrong tickets for an age group.

e) Lost tickets or passes can be replaced. In the event of loss please contact us on [email protected] with your name, address and event you were attending. We will send you a code to then use in the ticket store to be able to get a new ticket. This will cost you £5 plus the booking fee and your original ticket for the event will then be cancelled to prevent its use;

f) All tickets sold, either through our website or through another provider are non-transferable unless otherwise stated below or on the event booking page. This means that if you purchase a ticket for a specific date, you cannot use this ticket to attend another date, alternatively if you can’t attend the date, it is not possible to give or attempt to sell your ticket to a third party. Both will result in a refusal of entry to the Event without a refund.

g) Tickets will not be refunded unless for medical or compassionate circumstances, you will need to email [email protected] with all details relating to your case, the final decision will lie with Threshold.aero.

Event-specific 'arrival instructions' can be found by clicking the link on your confirmation email, which include timings, car parking information, and anything else that's relevant. These can include actions for you to comply with before the event with maybe a time limit. Failure to comply with these will result in a refusal of entry to the event without refund.



6. Attendance to Threshold Events:

a) The Ticket Holder agrees to follow all reasonable instructions of the Organisers and staff during the event.

b) The Ticket Holder acknowledges that some venues are subject to strict security arrangements and that the Organisers may carry out security checks (including, but not limited to, checks of the Ticket Holder's person, belongings and vehicle). We also may place restrictions on some items brought to the event.

c) The Ticket Holder agrees to wear a Hi-Visibility item of clothing at Threshold events, it is a pre requisite of any Ticket Holder to bring their own HiViz clothing (ie. Vest, Jacket, shirt, ideally in yellow). It may be that this is not required at certain events but this can be changed so you must always have it with you. Those who don’t have one at registration will be refused entry to the event without refund.

d) The Ticket Holder shall act responsibly at all times and not do anything to endanger the safety of any person or property at the event.

e) Smoking (including vaping) is permitted in an area as determined by the Organisers and indicated during the event safety briefing and is not allowed anywhere else or within 10 metres of any aircraft.

f) The following items may not under any circumstance be brought onto a Threshold event: illegal drugs and alcohol, explosive substances or materials, pyrotechnics, offensive weapons and firearms (including replica or toy firearms), projectiles and similar devices; placards, flags, banners, signs, brochures and leaflets intended for distribution to the public; megaphones, amplifiers, loud speakers, lights and laser pointers; paint, chemicals, spray cans and other associated apparatus; kites, remotely controlled model aircraft, drones or similar devices; bicycles, barbecues, birds or animals (including any within vehicles in the car parks) except assistance dogs and any other item which, in the opinion of the Organisers, may cause personal injury or property damage, disruption to the event, public nuisance or inconvenience, offence or distress or security risks.

g) The Ticket Holder acknowledges that the flying of drones or small unmanned aircraft is prohibited at any Threshold event.

h) Ticket Holders should keep their personal belongings with them at all times and the Organisers accept no liability for damage to, or loss (including theft) of, personal belongings or vehicles while on or at the venue.

i) Additional terms relating to the venue and event may be communicated by the Organisers at the event safety briefing and such additional terms shall be deemed incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.

j) The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to any event, or to remove any person or vehicle from the venue or any particular area for reasons of public safety, abuse towards staff, unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury, anyone under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, without refund.

k) The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to any event, to any ticket holder who did not forward any personal details of themselves or those who they purchased tickets for at the time of purchase, for any event where the venue has requested these details as a pre requisite of entry, or for any breach of these Terms and Conditions without refund.



7. Filming, photography and other content:

a) The Ticket Holder shall not without the Organisers' prior written consent sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit, or attempt to commercially exploit, any material relating to the event whether written or in the form of digital or photographic film, sound, video including livestreaming or other recording or computer software whether obtained or made at the event.

b) The Ticket Holder acknowledges that whilst attending the event, they may photographed or filmed. The Ticket Holder agrees to the use and exploitation of video or picture images or recordings including sound featuring the Ticket Holder taken by or on behalf of the Organisers at the event for any and all purposes determined by the Organisers, including security, or for commercial purposes, in any and all media whatsoever (whether in existence now or in the future) around the world without further authorisation, notification or payment. The Ticket Holder hereby waives any rights of objection in connection with such use or any so-called personality, image or privacy rights in connection with such use. 

8. Touchdown Club Members
1. The annual membership term commences when membership is purchased.
2. Membership is on an individual basis, is non-transferrable and non-refundable.
3. You must have a smart phone to be able to download the membership app, we will communicate everything via the app.
4. Each ninth event booked will be free, assuming membership is valid at the time of booking.
5. Any member who does not renew before their expiry date will not get continuous member status.
6. To claim any discount that we have arranged with third parties, you must show your membership card in the app.
7. From time to time you’ll be sent a discount code for certain events; this must only be used to purchase your ticket and no one else’s.
8. You can only purchase a ticket for yourself during the 24 hr club priority booking time.
9. Where a raffle for unique access is available, some of these will require members to purchase a ticket at extra cost to their membership fee.
10. The term ‘Event’ for club use means a Day/Night shoot, Fly in and UK Airfield tour.
